Known as “the Caped Crusader”, “the Dark Knight”, and “the World’s Greatest Detective”; Batman was created by Bob Cane and Bill Finger and first published in DC Comics. Batman is the secret identity of Bruce Wayne, a billionaire businessman made it to Top 15 in Forbes Fictional in 2011, playboy and philanthropist. Bruce Wayne witnessed his parents’ brutal murder by a mugger at the age of eight and promised to fight against crime in Gotham City. Disguised like a bat to intimidate criminals, Batman is a super hero without super powers; however he trains himself to develop his physical and intellectual skills. This makes him more believable, more realistic, more human. His commitment to prevent innocent people suffer makes him the ultimate enemy of villains and a key figure striving for justice. Batman is a leader motivated by conviction instead of any physical strength or material desires.

I just wanted to comment that I loved the presentation in class. I never thought about Batman as a leader, but he really does inspire hard work and values.
