After a recent incident in Kashmir resulting in several deaths and the burning of a Christian school, an article posted on TIME has brought up the question of how the false media stir-up from an Iranian TV station was the Catalyst for the protests in Kashmir. I found this article quite interesting after our discussion last week of how the media covered the now defunct Quran burning plan. The big difference here is that this outlet in Iran published blatant lies and fabricated their story.

I think it’s so interesting how media is basically completely responsible for creating an accurate picture of the outside world. It’s crazy how much people are a product of their environment.
