Mongolian Prime Minister in New York

The General Assembly of the UN is taking place in New York, USA.

“There is no global project more worthwhile,” Mr. Ban told the nearly 140 Heads of State and Government taking part in the three-day meeting at UN Headquarters in New York. “Let us send a strong message of hope. Let us keep the promise.” According to the United Nations,

The high-level meeting of the General Assembly is being held to take stock of the progress made so far towards the MDGs – which include slashing poverty, combating disease, fighting hunger, protecting the environment and boosting education – and to accelerate progress to reach the Goals by their 2015 target date. Mongolian Prime minister will address to the high level of meeting of the UN.

Mongolia is trying to make the most of its natural resource wealth. It is one of the last places on earth with huge untapped mining resources for coal, copper, gold and uranium. Mr Batbold talked about it to Reuters.

  1. Thanks for your information. If there is a resource, there is a problem. The more resources the more income gap. If your country can properly utilize your wealth you will be one of the riches country.
